An update that the knoppenprobleem of the HTC U12 Plus have to solve is now available. The smartphone has no physical, but capacitive buttons. That worries many users for irritations.

HTC promises that the update among other improvements for the touch sensitive buttons. The new software will be immediately rolled out under the European owners of the device. Users automatically get a notification once the update with version number 1.21.401.4 available.
On the side of the HTC U12 Plus we have the buttons, but you can’t press. They vibrate slightly when you touch them, and have a small touchsensor. It is a striking idea that, in practice, a bad sign. The buttons often react too slowly and give light feedback.
